We’ve researched every hotel and Airbnb options in all 50 states to find the most colorful places to stay for inspiration.

Alabama

Holiday House Palm Springs

Burns.  Today, it has been reimagined by interior designer Mark D. Sikes and the team behind Sparrows Lodge. The property features midcentury inspired elements combined with a communal atmosphere and whimsical edge.

Nestled on 68 acres in the Big Indian Wilderness, surrounded by the Catskills National Park, the Urban Cowboy Hotel is only 2.5 hours from New York City, but it sure feels like a world away. In fact, one of their favorite amenities is that they don’t have cell phone service. They do, however, have an amazing interior design, filled with nature-centric shades of brown and green.

North Carolina

AppleWood Manor in Asheville

What is impressive about the Asheville Bed and Breakfast, AppleWood Manor Inn, is the way they played with color in every room. The New England Style Colonial Revival has a stone masonry foundation and cedar shake siding, featuring a pediment entrance supported on Doric columns.

North Dakota

Hotel Donaldson in Fargo

Unfortunately, there aren’t many North Dakota stays that will inspire colorful inspiration in their decor. That doesn’t mean we didn’t find a hotel that will bring colorful art. The Hotel Donaldson has 17 unique artist-inspired rooms filled with luxurious furnishings.
