Designer Spotlight: New South Home discuss Modern Kids Rooms
Is there anything better than scrolling through picture-perfect images on Instagram when you are waiting in line at checkout or carpool? (kids rooms:) Sometimes I wonder what I ever did without Instagram or unlimited data! I can spend endless hours scrolling through pictures from interior designers but one southern designer that stops my scroll dead in its tracks is the feed from New South Home.

New South Home creates designs for homes that are comfortably sophisticated. They specialize in mixing current trends with a classic style. They are a full-service firm that creates beautiful yet fully functional home designs, which is exactly what every mom is looking for when designing kids’ rooms.

An example of how beautiful yet functional @Newsouthome designs are.
So I sat down and asked the women behind New South Home about modern kids’ rooms designs. Click the video below to watch us discuss colors, designs, and textiles to create a room that will grow with your child.
This Schumacher fabric design is just one of the prints that New South Home suggests to incorporate in your child’s room. It is inspired by an antique Persian carpet with a graphic print that features silhouettes of flowers and leaves. Once your child outgrows this design you can easily transfer it into any other room in your home.
New South Home created a flat lay just for my daughter’s new bedroom. Which included Sherwin Williams’s Alabaster white paint color (my favorite white paint) and Thibaut fabrics. I can definitely see these elements growing along with her for years to come.

@Newsouthhome even keeps your furry babies in mind.
